Socializing Online

Actor Zachary Quinto (Sylar on Heroes, Spock in the new Star Trek movie) is trying something that I don't think anyone has really done before, creating a social community on his website. There are plenty of celebrities with message boards and the like, but Quinto seems to be taking it a step further, working with Six Apart to add functionality. He's encouraging his fans to:

 It will be interesting to see how this develops. And it's nice to see how involved he is with his fans. (I hope this is him and not someone doing the work in his name.) He also has a Facebook and Twitter presence. And I wonder if this will be the start of a trend.
